  1. Again a fine translation, Eva ! By the way, what strikes me every time: the collection of saga’s of Van de Wall Perné must be quite unique, because when a story from the collection occurs in another (secundary) source, this source always refers to Van de Wall Perné, even the stories in the scientific ‘Verhalenbank’ of the Meertens Instituut. E.g. this story also shows up in E. de Jong & P. Klaasse: Sagen en Legenden van de Lage Landen. Bussum 1980, but also these authors refer to GvdWP. This uniqueness makes your translations of course more valuable.
